JENNIFER HARGE INTENSIVE - REPERTORY & TECHNIQUE

​AADW HARGE REPERTORY - DANCE 423/525/625 SECTION 101
***AVAILABLE FOR CREDIT ONLY***


• The AADW Harge Repertory is a 1-credit course, available only for Dance Majors and Dance MFAs. 
• This repertory must be taken for credit; there are no not-for-credit or fee-based options available. 
• The repertory credit can be applied to the Spring 18, F18, or W19 terms.
• The two-week intensive consists of technique classes and rep rehearsals. ​
• Rehearsals for this repertory work will continue in F18 and will be sustained until the February 2019 performances. A detailed contract will be distributed at the first rehearsal. 

Technique

Class schedule:

o May 8-11: DAILY @ 4:00-5:30 PM
​o May 14-18: DAILY 4:00-5:30 PM

Technique classes are a necessary and required
​part of the repertory course commitment.


Repertory

Rehearsal schedule:

o May 8-11: DAILY @ 6-9 PM
o Saturday, May 12, 10AM-5 PM
o May 14-18 @ 6-9 PM

***Exception***
If you are in the Harge Intensive and are also enrolling in Biza Sompa's Congolese course, Dance 265 (4-6 PM on Tu/Th), you will have to miss the Tu/Th technique sessions of the Harge Intensive in order to keep up your attendance in the Congolese course. In this situation, you will not be penalized for not attending the Tu/Th Harge technique classes.

This exception does not apply to the Humphrey Intensive; all involved in the Humphrey Intensive
are required to take the M-F Humphrey technique classes (see HUMPHREY INTENSIVE).
